soil-landscape model Lorica

Lorica simulates soil development and landscape development at the same time. The model, originally developed by myself and Tom Vanwalleghem, keeps track of soil properties in a user-defined number of layers in every cell of a raster. A range of geomorphic and pedologic processes affect these soil properties, and hence surface elevation. Layer thickness is updated by the model to reflect changes in soil properties and geomorphic activity, and to minimize loss of information. Send me a message if you want to work with the model.

T-vector is a small program that calculates Cox's T-vectors with DEM and watershed inputs. Free to use and change. This is research grade software - this means that I do not guarantee that results are correct, or that you will have results in the first place. Let me know if you have questions.
